Description: Join popular OLLI at DU facilitator, Alec Tsoucatos, as he presents a brief history of the Greek spoken and written language(s). We will explore the wonderful wealth of Greek words and how they can inform our lives today. Etymology serves as guidance to thought and action in our troubled world.

Speaker: Dr. Alec Tsoucatos, PhD was born of Greek parents in Alexandria, Egypt a day before Pearl Harbor. He attended primary school at a British school (Victoria College) in Alexandria and finished Junior High and High School in Athens, Greece. He has lived in Egypt, Greece, England and America. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees at UC Berkeley and his PhD from CU boulder under the tutelage of Kenneth Boulding. His main interests are in new economics, integrative medicine, positive psychology and mystical Christianity.
